The sponsors of EcoCAR play a critical role in the development of the vehicle. They provide us with both financial and technical support so that students may continue their educational paths towards a better future. Without them, the Penn State Team would have tremendous difficulty in researching new areas of automotive technology.

Since each sponsor has a different level of commitment, EcoCAR officials have divided them into 6 different categories: Headline, Diamond, Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze. Penn State also has several personal sponsors who are dedicated to helping the team on EcoCAR as well as other projects.
