The sponsors of EcoCAR play a critical role in the development of the vehicle. They provide us with both financial and technical support so that students may continue their educational paths towards a better future. Without them, the Penn State Team would have tremendous difficulty in researching new areas of automotive technology.

Since each sponsor has a different level of commitment, EcoCAR officials have divided them into 6 different categories: Headline, Diamond, Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze. Penn State also has several team sponsors who are dedicated to helping the team on EcoCAR and other projects. Please take a moment and check out our sponsors Web sites. Help Us Out!

In addition to current competition sponsors, we are always looking for help to move our projects along. If you would like to become a team sponsor or help us in any way, please contact our Faculty Advisor Gary Neal (please use ‘EcoCAR Sponsor’ in the subject line). Every little bit counts and any help is always greatly appreciated.

Sponsors of the Penn State AVT Team receive:

  • Placement of the company logo on the team’s vehicle
  • Exposure at all of the seminars, trade shows, conferences, and events that the Penn State EcoCAR team attends.

Sponsorship Levels (Penn State team):

  • $50,000 Headline Sponsor
    Benefits    : Sponsor name and logo on HEV, an on-campus display, team publications, and advertising items. Acknowledgment in media and press announcements, media kits and on the team’s Web site. Team members and the EcoCAR can be made available for promotional events as requested by sponsor to present the project and discuss its significance.
  • $25,000 Platinum Sponsor
    Benefits    : Sponsor name and logo on HEV, an on-campus display, team publications, and various advertising items. Acknowledgment in media and press announcements, media kits and on the team’s Web site. Team can be made available for promotional events as requested by sponsor to present the project and discuss its significance.
  • $10,000 Gold Sponsor
    Benefits    : Sponsor name and logo on HEV, an on-campus display, team publications, and miscellaneous advertising items. Acknowledgment in media and press announcements and on the team’s Web site.
  • $5,000 Silver Sponsor
    Benefits    : Small sponsor logo on HEV, an on-campus display, and miscellaneous advertising items. Sponsor name and logo displayed on sponsor board during media events and competition. Acknowledgement on the team’s Web site.
  • $3,000 Bronze Sponsor
    Benefits    : Sponsor name and logo displayed on sponsor board during media events and competition. Acknowledgement on the team’s Web site.
